'FOR A BETTER FUTURE'

Ist Place
Cloe Spring (Year 7)

This shows the light coming back from the ashes and even if it looks like the sparks have gone - the light, the hope, will find its way.

2nd Place
Lizzy Barclay (Year 7)

This is my best friend Julia and I knew her before I moved house to Clevedon. I lived in south-east London in Bromley. It is mega important to have someone to talk to, play with, help you when you get stuck andto make you feel that you are not alone. They can be a family member, a teacher and or someone that you trust.

3rd Place
Vladimir Matkovsky (Year 7)

I wish for a world which is calm, peaceful. Even when the sun sets it will always rise.

Ist Place

Evy Lilly (Year 13)

2nd Place
Leah Cox (Year 12)

This symbolises the theme ""for a better world""; as it was taken at a protest against the violence towards children in Gaza. It shows a young child beingguided by an adult in support of this cause, demonstrating how we can teach empathy and understanding of global political issues to children, with the aim of a better future for future generations. It

demonstrates the support for suffering people from other countries, displaying the unifying nature of humanity and an ultimate feeling of hope."

Earth. Our provider. Our home. Our hope. It protects us. It gives us opportunities. It helps us achieve the unimaginable. Without Earth, we are nothing. Without Earth we don't exist. So, it is time to walk to towards a better future so the Earth can keep spinning and we can keep living.

3rd Place (Year 13)
Mia Podmore

A dimly lit alley leads toward a streetlight, a quiet contrast of darkness and direction. It’s a simple reminder: even in challenging times, there’s always a way forward.

Commendation
Cerys Cox

(Weston College)

"The future though not tangible exists, it can bring sorrow, and it can bring hope. The future is indefinite and will continue to be, and humanity for as long as it exists, we will pray for a positive outcome. The light we carry will always shine through even in times of despair, even if the future is not clear the hope, we carry will shine though. The optimism of people in the most nightmarish of places have inspired many whoare just waiting for that light to glow."
